• wow what an iron
• this is a commercial steam iron most likely for a drycleaning business and laundry
• heats up rapidly

• has a seperate hose with a brass connection for the steam
• connector is nice and clean
• both the electrical and steam cord are cloth wrapped for safety with no fraying
• 69 inch electrical cord and 85 inch steam cord
• nice hardwood handle
• the label which did not photo to my satisfaction reads sussman steam systems –automatic steam products corp.–
• long island city New York-volts 120 AC–amp 10–no p8105222
• there is a silver post in the center which I think needs a knob but it moves freely and you can adjust as is
• I think the odd rod and knob on the back is for hanging the iron or perhaps for stabalizing it.
• trust me it gets hot!!
• suface of iron is in great shape and as you can see by the photos there are some scratches to the plate
• you can only feel 2 with your fingernail one at top and one in the middle toward the bottom
• small amount of mineral deposits at the bottom of the iron on both sides which will clean up easy
• only way to avoid deposits is to use distilled water
• this is very heavy but can be shipped priority flat rate
• Iron is 8 1/2 inches tall by 4 1/2 at widest front point and to handle in back it is almost 6 inches
• great tool vintage but no date
